SUBJECT     : ENGLISH LANGUAGE

TOPIC          : NARRATIVE WRITTING

CLASS         : SHS 2

DURATION: 40 MINUTES

OBJECTIVES

By the end of the lessons, students should be able to;

Understand and identify narrative writing

Write narrative writing using the chronological sequence 

Summarize the narrative writings from their own perspectives or their subjective point of view

Relevance Previous Knowledge

Students watched a drama performance at home.

Teacher Learner Activity

Pre- Presentation

Introduction

Teacher introduces the lesson by reviewing the students RPK on the movie they watched at home.

Teacher projects the movie again for discussion 

Teacher asks students to inculcate the idea of Animoto, in sketching the movie they watched.

Presentation / Main Activity

Teacher explains to students what narrative essays are using the movie they watched as the focus.

Teacher tells students the chronological sequence narrative essay can take

Teacher teaches student’s how this sequential events can be summarized

Post – Presentation

Teacher wraps lesson up by playing an audio using a speaker to enable audibility, and ask students to listen attentively to be able to summarize it from their own point of view.

Teacher orients students on the use of story Bird to create a story and write stories base on their own ideas .

Evaluation

Using the Story Bird application create an imaginary story.
